The state of Ohio requires all students entering the 7th grade to have the meningococcal vaccine (also known as MCV4, Menevo or Menactra) in addition to one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis). Additionally, the state of Ohio requires all students entering the 12th grade to have a second dose of meningococcal vaccine (also known as MCV4, Menevo or Menactra). If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine was administered on or after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required. Vaccination is the best way to protect someone from getting the disease.

Riverside Alliance Church has partnered with Coventry Local Schools to help address an important need, student hunger. With the Coventry Cares program, twice a month, Riverside Church is packing bags of food to go home with students over the weekend.You can help by bringing donations of the most-needed food items to the main office of any Coventry School or to Riverside Alliance Church for use in the bags.
